Glass Etching Supplies Needed

• Glass Surface (i.e wine glasses)
  • View Wine Glasses for under $25.
• Protective gloves and glasses
• Chalk Couture
  • Etching Cream
  • Chalk Couture silk screen transfers / stencils for wine glasses ( large or small). I used the minis. The farmhouse stencils will work too.
  • Small Squeegee
• Water

How to Etch Glass with Chalk Couture Transfer?

Follow these simple steps to etch glass with chalk couture transfer:

1. Put on your protective gloves and glasses.
   • TIP: Wear the safety material. ( side note … I know I didn’t wear any but once I was rinsing the cream off the glass. I thought it was dumb for me not to. LOL.. If the cream can etch glass it’s probably not smart of me to risk skin contact. Wear safety gloves and glasses!)
2. Clean the glass surface thoroughly and dry it.
3. Apply the Chalk Couture transfer design to the glass surface.
4. Use a squeegee to apply the etching cream to the design.
5. Allow the etching cream to set for 15-20 minutes (follow the directions on the etching cream bottle).
6. Gently remove the chalk couture stencils for wine glasses.
7. Rinse the glass surface and transfer / stencil with water to remove any remaining etching cream.
8. Dry the glass surface.

The result will be a beautiful etched design on your glass surface.
