Step-by-Step On How To Make A Layered Bow With Ribbon

Step 1: How To Make A Bow With Multiple Ribbons

Before diving into how to make a large bow with multiple ribbons process, gather the necessary materials. You’ll need 3 different styles of ribbon, raffia, jute rope, scissors, and a ruler or measuring tape. Choose a ribbon that complements your project, ensuring it’s of good quality to achieve the best results.

Step 2: Determine Bow Size and Cut Ribbon

Decide on the desired size of your bow, keeping in mind the scale of your project. Using the ruler or measuring tape, cut a length of ribbon accordingly. Remember to add a few extra inches for the tails, which will add an elegant touch.

Step 3: Layered Bow Tutorial

Create the loops of the bow. Hold the ribbon with one hand and cross it over near the bottom making it look similar to a cancer ribbon. Now take the top of the bow and pinch it down to where the ribbon is crossed over.  The size of the loop will depend on your chosen bow size.

Step 4: How To Make An Easy Bow With Ribbon

Secure the center of the bow. Take a small piece of jute rope and wrap it tightly around the center of the loops. Tie a knot or secure it with a small dab of glue. Ensure it’s secure but not too tight, allowing the loops to retain their shape.

Repeat Steps 3 & 4 for each ribbon / raffia until you have used all the ribbons.
