The tradition is similar to “Boo-ing” a neighbor (leaving treats on their doorstep anonymously), but it’s grown into its own gifting tradition, especially for partners, best friends, and family members.

Boo Basket Ideas for Best Friend from Walmart

For this one, I filmed myself building the whole basket from start to finish, and every item came from Walmart. It’s cozy, spooky cute, and easy to recreate even if you’re shopping last minute.

How I Put It Together

1. Start with the basket as your base and line the bottom with tissue paper or shredded paper filler so nothing sits flat.
2. Add the throw blanket first, Creates height and a soft backdrop for the rest of the items.
3. Place the tumbler  It’s pairs perfectly with the throw blanket. 
4. Tuck in the mug on the side so it’s visible but not blocking smaller items.
5. Add the candle in an open pocket near the front for scent and visual weight.
6. Layer in the bulk candy last, loose or in a small bag, filling in any remaining gaps and adding color.
7. Fluff and adjust until nothing looks like it’s about to tip over, then it’s ready to gift (or photograph for Pinterest).
